Our company founders Forbes and Ursula Carlile, are world renowned Olympic swim coaches and pioneering sports scientists and educators. Their collective passion and dedication to excellence in swimming training and education has seen great recognition and awards over many years. Over the past 20 years, in collaboration with Forbes and Ursula, Directors John Coutts and Richard Cahalan, both international swimming competitors themselves, have developed what is today recognised as the leading swim school program in Australia. Through extensive research, observation and consulting in Australia, US, Mexico, Sweden and NZ – John & Richard have brought together world’s best practice into the Carlile Swimming philosophy and facility design to deliver the highest quality program consistently to our customers.

Both John and Richard continue to provide advisory and consulting services to Australian swim school organisations and operators and conduct many speaking assignments for industry bodies and associations both locally and internationally. 

Carlile Swimming continues to seek new growth opportunities and has collaborated with a variety of partners including local councils and Fitness First, to provide new sites and services to our customers.
