Facilities

In line with our Teaching Philosophy, Carlile Swimming is committed to providing child focused (and designed), high quality facilities that incorporate healthy, clean and the safest possible pool environments for children to learn.

Carlile Swimming understands the importance of water and air temperature in the operation of a successful swim school. Small changes in temperature significantly impact the comfort of the child and teacher and diminishes the effectiveness of the lesson.

Creating an optimum environment for teaching and learning involves a number of key areas:

Design

Our facilities are specifically designed and programmed for swim teaching. Age appropriate depths and customised teaching ledges are features of our pools.

Water Quality

Establishing and maintaining water quality is critical to our business. Our pools are equipped with state-of-the art filtration and disinfection systems. Water quality and chlorine levels are checked regularly throughout each day to ensure comfortable and healthy swimming conditions at all times.

Water Temperature

Water temperature is maintained at the optimum level (32 - 33C) for teaching children to swim, ensuring they stay warm and comfortable during lessons. Our experience has shown that cooler water makes learning difficult and may cause children to lose interest in attending classes.

Air Handling

We closely monitor air quality and aim to maintain a comfortable temperature for parents and an optimal temperature for teaching. All our facilities are designated non smoking areas.

Amenities
