All Carlile Swimming staff complete rigorous training programs, which are designed to exceed industry standards. These programs cover all areas of operations at the school and are customised to fit the Carlile system.

In addition to completing extensive and proprietary training with Carlile Swimming for each program they are involved in, trainees are required to attain one of the nationally recognised qualifications, including Swim Australia Teacher, World Aquatics Swimming Instructor or Austswim's Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety.

Carlile Swimming has produced a series of manuals outlining the internationally acclaimed Carlile teaching methodology and philosophy. Developed and refined over a period of more than 50 years, these manuals have won industry awards, both in Australia and overseas.

Our teachers are fully trained and take a special interest in each and every child. New teachers must be competent in all aspects of a class before they are given a class of their own.
