In the 1950’s Forbes Carlile began to use the phrase “To swim well is an Asset for Life” and this became the foundation for Carlile Swimming's worldwide reputation for teaching quality and innovation.
At Carlile Swimming we believe that every Australian child should undertake some form of structured swimming education to ensure they have valuable skills that will benefit them through their lives.
Swimming is embedded in Australian culture and part of our way of life. This has been influenced over many generations by a number of factors, including our great climate and proximity to water, our outdoor lifestyle and competitive, fun loving spirit.
