Right now, Brisbane is the most successful swimming city in the world, producing a steady stream of Olympic champions. That’s been Carlile’s heritage. In fact, Carlile coached swimmers have been at every Olympic trials since 1948 a record unmatched by any club team in the world.
Founder Forbes Carlile was Australia’s first Olympic coach, starting his career almost 80 years ago. He and wife Ursula, are both in the International Swimming Hall of Fame, they built the first specialist indoor teaching pool where they pioneered baby and toddler swimming. Inspired by their legacy of scientific discovery and innovation Carlile Swim remains a world-renowned name in swimming.
