About These Lessons

At Carlile Swim, we believe swimming is an asset for life, for everyone. Our lessons are taught by qualified instructors trained in adaptive and inclusive teaching methods.

Each level and skill can be tailored to suit every child individually, whether that means supporting different abilities, communication styles, sensory needs, or simply working at a pace that feels right for them.

We want children to develop a genuine love and a sense of safety around water. To do this, we work with each swimmer and their family or carer to understand what they need, what they enjoy, and what they want to achieve.

Our Facilities

Our pools are fully enclosed, temperature-controlled, and designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every swimmer. All our facilities feature accessible entry and exit points, along with changerooms and amenities on site.

Schools That Offer Disability Support Swimming Lessons

Our swim schools offer disability support lessons led by teachers with specialised skills, training, and hands-on experience supporting swimmers with a wide range of needs and learning styles.

Every swimmer is different – and we start by listening.

Before lessons begin, we have a friendly conversation with you about your child’s needs, strengths, and goals. We’ll talk through what works well at home, what feels tricky in the water, and what you’d like to achieve. From there, we build a lesson plan tailored specifically to your swimmer.

Our teachers and families work as one team. We share progress updates, celebrate the small wins, and adjust lessons as your child grows and develops. Every step forward matters.

We’re committed to creating a safe, caring environment where every swimmer can build confidence, work towards their goals, and genuinely enjoy their time in the water.
