Update: Carlile management has followed up the matter and extended their apology about the situation happening on the first day of the holiday camp. They have taken actions to elevate the experience, instructors started to use 2 lanes of the pool that significantly improve the experience for the class so I decided to edit my review and rating and change it to 4 star review. I still believe they need to train their front desk staff on customer service that's why my star rating will not be "5". ‐------------------------------------------------------------------------- I recently enrolled my 9-year-old daughter in the summer holiday camp at Carlile Lane Cove West, where we've been loyal customers. However, our experience was disappointing. The promised 45-minute daily classes turned out to be overcrowded with 7 other kids in a half lane, hindering the learning environment. Despite expressing concerns and witnessing kids bumping into each other, the reception insisted it was normal for King Fish classes to have 7-8 kids. When I requested to cancel the remaining 4 days, I was denied a refund, and even the manager couldn't acknowledge our long-standing patronage. In my six years with Carlile, such overcrowding has never been the norm. I caution anyone considering the summer camp, as our class was overloaded.

Kids have been going here for years. Easy parking and facilities. Solid swim instructors.

Went into carlile to enroll my son into swimming lessons as he is beginning primary school. I was assisted by a lovely girl named Sophia, made swimming lessons for my son a breeze.

Excellent facility for kids to learn. My son has been to a few different swim schools before but he has progressed at Carlile the most. Professional teachers and staff.

We have been attending Carlile Swimming in Ryde since July this year with our 4 and 6 year old, both are having a great time while learning the highly valuable skill of swimming. We have been to a couple of other places over the years, but I have to say this is the best one by far. So if you have a child that needs to learn how to swim I would highly recommend

My son today had is first lesson and he loved it! All the staff and instructors are great! Definitely recommend it.

Special thanks to Gabe who figured out what was not working well for my daughter and made it a point to pay special attention each class and ensured she picks the training as need be. Really appreciate the support provided by the team to make swimming a fun activity.

We have been using the facilities for all our kids from the last 9 years, this place is getting better by the day. Great location with awesome facilities; trainers are just at the next level with lots of patience. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent swim school. Best in the business. My 4 children swam here for 8-9 years. We only left due to not being able to get lessons at a time that suited when our youngest was starting primary school in 2021. We have recently left the other swim school for various reasons. Let me say that its good to be "home" and glad to be a Carlile family once again!

I have been attending Tuesday squads for about 2 years now and I absolutely love it the coaches are amazing shout out to Will and Gabe and former coach Jack who have supported and encouraged me through out my time there. They are amazing coaches and have amazing coaching methods. I would recommend Carlile Norwest to anyone looking for great swimming lessons and squads for kids or teens. 10/10

Main pool is 25m and contains 7 lanes, there is also a smaller warmer pool for lessons. Bathroom facilities are clean. The staff are fantastic, especially Sarah! There is also a tawny frogmouth that roosts in the tree visible from lane 6 which is pretty cool.

We are absolutely thrilled with our experience at Carlile Cherrybrook! Our family's journey with them has been nothing short of remarkable. When our son, then just a toddler, had a frightful incident in the pool, he developed a deep fear of water. However, thanks to the unwavering patience and support of the team, he gradually overcame his fears and began to flourish. Within a remarkably short span of time, he was confidently swimming laps with minimal assistance—a testament to the dedication and expertise of the CC team. My daughter, who has a spirited and sometimes defiant nature, has also made significant strides under their guidance. The instructors at Carlile Cherrybrook have not only helped her refine her swimming skills but have also instilled in her a newfound sense of confidence and determination. We cannot express enough gratitude to the entire team at CC for their exceptional commitment to nurturing young swimmers. Thanks to their dedication, our children have truly become confident little fish, and we couldn't be happier with their progress. Highly recommend Carlile Cherrybrook to any parent seeking a nurturing and supportive environment for their child's swimming journey!

Great place for kids to learn swimming. Amazing staff who pays great attention to your child in their early years of swimming lessons. School holidays are even better as kids get intensive learning and practice (whenever possible). Just one observation that when the class is full, 6 or 7 kids seems a bit crowded. 5 kids max would be ideal. Overall two thumbs up!
